I still think 42 is as good an answer as any

It's my favorite answer! And as a bonus, the decaying locomotive was just waiting for me to find it :-)

All good to have The Answer. Trouble is we are still figuring out what the ultimate question is 😉

I love the black and white image "Emergence",in storage in Nevada.

I feel drawn to dark images myself and love the tones, shapes, and texture in this one.

I also agree with this and hope that it continues to be true: "Artists often remind me, as the Yayoi did last week, that we might be just fine even without all the answers if we can continue to create, and if we can be present to the wonders of life. "

Thank you Manuela, I appreciate the kind words. I like _Emergence_ best too, followed by _42_, which also is solid in Black and White. But for this story I thought the color version fit better, as opposed to being necessarily a better stand-alone image.

I still prefer _Emergence_, but I'll post the other one in B&W in notes so you can see, and in case others are interested.

Most importantly: We all need exposure to people like Yayoi and sentiments like hers, I think.

Thanks again for the thoughtful comments and compliments, Manuela!
