This hit close to home. My issue is doing - sitting still or doing nothing is not ok. I’m sure it has to do with my potty training but I’ll leave that discussion/analysis to another day. I’m the meantime I’ve got a bunch of stuff I’ve got to get done right now
Thank you Manuela! It took several attempts, as you might expect. I was still, it was the camera that moved, and the image is a reflection in a mirror, near a window with shades that created the shadow pattern.
i can't think at anything else but the great gandalf: "all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us".
John Wooden, Bill Walton, and Gandalf. Three of the greats. Thank you a.
Also, 2/3 of commenters agree that Gandalf has answers :-)
2 out of 3? well, when 2 people are telling me that i'm drunk, the best i can do is go to bed 😁
Time is the most mercurial of all the universe offers.
We cannot control it, but it has the most control of all.
Nothing can escape it, change it, warp t, or tame it.
But it is time that gives us the opportunity to experience it.
And, as Gandalf said, choose what to do with it.
Well said, Don. It seems I need to embrace your fourth line.
As an aside, I'm interested that of the first three comments, two mention Gandalf!

Love you George!!!
Great photos, Donn.
The Roman philosopher Seneca said it well in a letter to Paulinus: It is not that we have a short space of time, but that we waste much of it.
Love the moving self portrait!
