Perhaps obviously, but I like both color and monochrome photography. I preferred black and white for the Philadelphia images. The last image in particular is much easier to identify in color, where the plant is green, so I sacrificed that. But as a group of five images I liked black and white better for the emotions I hoped to convey. The transition also helps separate the two sections of the letter. The first section is bright and colorful, the second... not.
Order is over rated.

Funny enough, I feel more drawn to the 'more chaotic' black and white images.
I wonder if these images would be too busy and chaotic in color. Black and white brings order into busyness, I think.
