Both, but the bison images were all from driving through. Meadowlarks and the wet pronghorn also. A car makes a really nice screen for wildlife photography. Often an animal will not run off (or fly off) from a slow-moving or stopped car, but will immediately flee if you get out of the vehicle. And depending on the species and your distance, hiking can cause them to flee as well once they see you.
